We rejoice with everyone as we celebrate our 52nd Cochran Family Reunion filled with faithfulness and God in our lives. Our story began in 1879 when Aaron Cochran and Martha Cochran were united in marriage in Gainesville, Georgia. Their family grew to include seven children, and today, we celebrate a legacy that spans over six generations and countless descendants.
In 1900, seeking new opportunities, Aaron's family embarked on a journey from Georgia to Oklahoma, ultimately making their home in Luther, Meridan (Evansville), and Guthrie. This bold move marked the beginning of new chapters and connections.
In 1968, we reconnected with the descendants of Joe Cochran, Aaron's brother, and Harriet Cochran from Georgia and Michigan, further expanding our family tree with over eight generations.
Today, Cochran's live across the United States and in the United Kingdom, each of us carrying forward the values and bonds that define our family. As we gather once more, let's celebrate our rich history and the ties that keep us connected across generations and miles.
